G Black is Gotcha Borg number 206. He is a Machine Borg who closely resembles G Red and Neo G Red.
Description[]
A mysterious Gotcha Borg who may have more power than G Red! Nothing is known about this borg, except that he resembles G Red in appearance.
How to Obtain[]
G Black cannot be acquired through normal gameplay. For the Japanese version of the game, G Black was distributed exclusively at the 2004 Jump Festa hosted by V-Jump magazine and Capcom at the Makuhari Messe convention center.
G Black can be obtained in the overseas version, but only through the 20th Force Glitch.
The force sequence for G Black is 2, 4, 6, 10, 11.
Analysis/Strategy[]
Using this Borg[]
G Black fights very much similarly to Neo G Red, except of course that he features a buster laser as his B button charge shot. In addition, G Black has a slightly better speed stat, but at the cost of slightly lower defensive power. In his ground melee attacks, the Black Sword can create a chain of explosions similar to Metal Hero's own sword attacks on the third slash.

Trivia[]
- G Black's presence in the US and EU versions of the game may suggest that a distribution event similar to what was held in Japan would have been planned for western audiences, but, because of the game's failure overseas, no such event was ever held. Alternatively, a western distribution event may never have even been planned, making G Black's presence in the game's code merely a holdover from the Japanese release.
- G Black uses an energy-based blade unlike Neo G Red, who uses a metal blade.
